Max Reaves Dominates Salem, Leads All 212 Laps to Win Spruce 212

Max Reaves put together a performance to remember Saturday night at Salem Speedway, dominating the Spruce 212 from start to finish.

Reaves led all 212 laps of the ARCA Menards Series race, completing a remarkable wire-to-wire victory under the lights at one of the most challenging short tracks on the schedule.

The win is especially impressive considering Salem’s reputation. The 0.555-mile track features 33 degrees of banking in the corners, demanding incredible concentration and precision from the drivers. The race was also the 112th ARCA Menards Series event at Salem.

Reaves Was Untouchable

Reaves started the night from the pole after putting the No. 18 Cook Out Toyota at the top of qualifying with a lap of 17.156 seconds at 116.461 mph.

From there, he never gave anyone an opportunity to take the lead.

Lap after lap, Reaves maintained control of the field while navigating Salem’s notoriously difficult corners. The ability to stay out front for the entire 212-lap distance is a testament to both Reaves’ driving and the performance of his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Redemption At Salem

The victory also carries extra meaning for Reaves.

He entered Saturday’s race looking for redemption after leading 111 laps at Salem in 2025 before his night ended early because of a crash.

This time, there was no late heartbreak.

Reaves qualified first, controlled the race and ultimately finished the job, turning one of his most frustrating tracks into another major victory.

Another Big Moment For Reaves

The win continues what has been an impressive season for the young driver. Reaves already had three ARCA national victories coming into the Salem weekend, while also making a major impact in the ARCA platform throughout 2026.

Now he can add one of the most dominant performances of his career to that résumé.

212 laps. 212 laps led. One winner.

Max Reaves owned Salem Speedway on Saturday night.
