William Byron has a new problem.
And for once, it has absolutely nothing to do with his race car.
The Hendrick Motorsports star has NASCAR fans wondering whether he has quietly moved on from his previous relationship after appearing alongside social media influencer Kylan Darnell.
The two were spotted together during Byron’s recent vacation, with Darnell appearing in a photo Byron posted to Instagram. She also left a couple of very interesting comments on the post.
One simply read, “my fav.”
The other?
“vroom vroom.”
Now, before everyone starts planning the wedding, neither Byron nor Darnell has publicly confirmed that they’re dating.
But that hasn’t stopped NASCAR internet from doing what NASCAR internet does best.
Speculating.
Byron has kept his personal life remarkably quiet since his reported split from Erin Blaney, Ryan Blaney’s sister, in 2024. That relationship lasted more than four years and became one of the most recognizable relationships in the NASCAR garage.
So when Byron suddenly posts a vacation photo with an influencer who has more than 500,000 Instagram followers, people notice.
Darnell isn’t exactly a random name, either. She became a major social media personality during the Alabama “Bama Rush” era and previously won Miss Ohio Teen USA.
Again, nothing is official.
But if William Byron really does have a new girlfriend, NASCAR fans may have just gotten their first look.
And judging by the comments, people are already very interested.
