William Byron’s NASCAR season hasn’t exactly gone according to plan.
But somehow, his personal life has become one of the more interesting stories surrounding the No. 24 car.
And Kylan Darnell is the reason.
The sports-media personality suddenly found herself under a massive NASCAR microscope after appearing in Byron’s vacation photos this summer.
Then came the comments.
Darnell called Byron “my fav” and followed it up with “vroom vroom.”
That was enough to send NASCAR fans into full detective mode.
The reason this has become such a big deal is pretty simple.
Byron has kept his dating life relatively private since his reported split from Erin Blaney in 2024. So when he posts a photo with Darnell and she responds like that, people are naturally going to start asking questions.
And Darnell isn’t exactly an unknown.

Now she’s suddenly getting attention from an entirely different corner of the sports world.
