The ARCA Menards Series heads back to the dirt this weekend for one of the most unpredictable races of the 2026 season.
The Audubon Park 100 will take place Sunday night at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in DuQuoin, Illinois, marking the second and final dirt race on the ARCA national schedule this season. The race will feature 100 laps around the historic one-mile dirt oval.
The green flag is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 6, with coverage available on FS1 and the FOX Sports App. The race will also feature a scheduled break around Lap 50, putting even more importance on tire management and strategy.
One of the biggest storylines entering the weekend is Max Reaves.
Reaves is coming off a dominant performance at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, where he led 98 of 100 laps to win the most recent ARCA dirt race. Now, he has a chance to accomplish something extremely rare: sweep both ARCA Menards Series dirt races in the same season.
If Reaves can win at DuQuoin, he will also collect a $20,000 bonus as part of the Audubon Park Dirt Double. Reaves already has three ARCA Menards Series victories this season and enters the weekend with plenty of confidence after his Springfield performance.
However, Reaves will have plenty of competition.
Gavan Boschele is one of the drivers looking to challenge Reaves after coming up just short at Springfield. Boschele has a strong dirt-racing background and is still searching for his first ARCA Menards Series victory. A win at DuQuoin would give him the biggest victory of his ARCA career.
Taylor Reimer is another driver to watch. Reimer showed strong speed at Springfield before a restart violation hurt her result. She will be looking to bounce back at DuQuoin and become the first woman to win a national ARCA Menards Series race.
The championship battle adds another layer to Sunday’s race. Jake Bollman currently leads Thomas Annunziata by just five points, meaning every position could become critical with the season entering its final stretch.
DuQuoin will also present a different challenge than Springfield because the race will take place at night. Changing temperatures and track conditions could dramatically alter how the dirt surface handles throughout the 100 laps.
With championship points, a $20,000 bonus and a potential dirt-racing sweep all on the line, the Audubon Park 100 has all the ingredients for an exciting night of ARCA racing.
At DuQuoin, one thing is almost guaranteed: anything can happen on the dirt.
