Trevor Huddleston Eyes Second ARCA West Title at Family-Owned Kern Raceway

Trevor Huddleston is one race away from celebrating his second consecutive ARCA Menards Series West championship, and he could hardly ask for a more fitting place to do it.

The 2026 season concludes Saturday, October 31, with the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, California, a half-mile asphalt oval operated by Huddleston’s family.

Entering the finale with a 39-point advantage, Huddleston only needs to start the race to secure the championship. His consistency has been difficult to match this season, with two victories, nine top-five finishes, and 752 laps led. He also swept both ARCA West races at Kern in 2025.

But while the championship is nearly settled, there’s still plenty worth watching.

The series has produced nine different winners through 12 races, including Mason Massey, who won the season opener at Kern in February. Massey enters the finale just four points ahead of Robbie Kennealy in the battle for second in the standings.

Hailie Deegan is another contender to watch after winning at Madera Speedway in September. Deegan passed Huddleston in the final corner to secure her first ARCA West victory in seven years and is confirmed for Saturday’s race.

The finale also coincides with Kern Raceway’s Haunted Night of Destruction, featuring figure-eight racing, skid-plate racing, a drag-a-boat competition, and pit-area trick-or-treating.

Huddleston may have the championship within reach, but the rest of the field still has one final opportunity to close out 2026 with a victory.

The 150-lap race begins at 10 p.m. Eastern on FloRacing.
