BROWNSBURG, Ind. — The battle for the final NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Chase berth takes center stage Friday night as the series returns to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the TSport 200 presented by Warn Industries.
The 200-lap, 137.2-mile race marks the 16th event of the 2026 season and opens NASCAR’s Brickyard weekend. The green flag is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, with live coverage on FS1, the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The championship picture remains one of the closest in the sport.
Only three points separate Stewart Friesen and Daniel Hemric for the final provisional spot in the 10-driver Truck Series Chase entering Friday’s race, with six regular-season events remaining. Every stage point and finishing position could prove critical as the postseason cutoff approaches.
Drivers to Watch
Layne Riggs returns as the defending winner at IRP after capturing last year’s race and enters with momentum following another strong season for Front Row Motorsports.
Stewart Friesen will look to strengthen his hold on the final Chase position, while Daniel Hemric hopes to erase the slim points deficit in one of the season’s biggest pressure races.
Championship contenders Ty Majeski, Ben Rhodes, Chandler Smith, Christian Eckes, Kaden Honeycutt, Jake Garcia, Daniel Dye and Grant Enfinger headline a deep field expected to challenge on the historic 0.686-mile short track.
Fans will also see several notable part-time entries, including Conor Daly, while 38 trucks are entered for 36 starting spots, meaning two teams will fail to qualify.

Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park has become a staple of NASCAR’s Brickyard weekend since the Truck Series returned in 2022, bringing short-track racing back to one of the sport’s most historic venues while the Cup and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series compete at nearby Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
