The Daily Wire reported that Kurt was at the hospital while Kyle breathed his last. The 41-year-old driver died on May 21 after an undiagnosed bacterial infection turned septic. This illness moved through his body with a speed that left no time for goodbyes from the family.

Racing fans know the track is a lonely place, but the Busch brothers had a unique connection. Kurt described their time on the asphalt as a perfect mirror of their souls.
